Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
- Licensed and certified to practice in applicable state
- Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, or high school level
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and families
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering student growth and progress
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support and intervention to assigned students in school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and interventions for ongoing assessment
- Assist students with developing social, academic, and communication skills
- Attend meetings and trainings relevant to student care and professional development
- Adapt to changing student needs and proactively address challenges
- Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning atmosphere
