Registered Behavior Technician in Woodland, CA

Work closely with a dedicated 1st grade student in a vibrant school setting as a Registered Behavior Technician on a contract basis. This vital one-on-one role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in a general education classroom, focusing on supporting a young learner through intense behaviors. The position starts as soon as possible and runs through early June 2026, giving you the chance to build rapport and create meaningful progress.

What you'll bring:

• Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors, preferably in an educational environment
• Ability to collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Skills in supporting children with attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors
• Team-oriented mindset and the ability to work alongside paraeducators
• Professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to fostering positive change

Your responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support and intervention to a 1st grade student in a general education setting
• Collaborate closely with the assigned BCBA, paraprofessional, and school staff to implement effective behavior strategies
• Collect, track, and report behavioral data to support ongoing treatment decisions
• Apply behavior management techniques as outlined in the student's BIP
• Help promote the student's academic and social success in the classroom environment
