Make a meaningful difference in the life of a young student as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school environment near Woodland, CA. This contract opportunity places you alongside a dedicated team, supporting a first grade student in a general education setting. Your collaboration with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a classroom paraprofessional will help create a positive, structured learning space through the implementation of targeted behavior intervention plans.

Highlights of this opportunity include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to a 1st grade student who exhibits intense, attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors
  • Collaborating closely with a BCBA and paraeducators to implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Developing rapport with the student while promoting positive behavior and emotional regulation within the classroom
  • Utilizing data collection and daily progress monitoring to inform ongoing intervention strategies

Preferred qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors, ideally in a school or similar setting
  • Comfort with data tracking and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility to respond to the student’s evolving needs throughout the school year

This is a contract position working 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 5, 2026. You'll receive competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30 to $45, reflecting your skills and commitment.
