Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Yuba City, California

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a 1st-grade student with intense behavioral needs in a dynamic educational setting near Woodland, CA. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll make a meaningful impact through consistent one-on-one engagement, helping a general education student thrive academically and socially.

This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 5, 2026, offering a stable schedule of 35 hours per week. You'll work closely under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate with a dedicated paraprofessional to implement an effective Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) designed to address attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors. This partnership provides invaluable professional support as you help shape positive outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification and registration in good standing
• Experience providing direct behavior services in educational or pediatric environments
• Familiarity with developing and executing Behavior Intervention Plans under BCBA supervision
• Confidence managing intense behaviors and using evidence-based strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities when working with BCBAs, paraprofessionals, educators, and families
• Strong organizational skills and an empathetic, patient approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver consistent one-on-one behavior support to a 1st-grade male student in the general education setting
• Implement individualized interventions according to the BIP
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and behavior patterns
• Communicate observations and insights to the BCBA and team members
• Work jointly with a para to ensure seamless, coordinated care
