Seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a contract position in Woodland, CA, supporting a first-grade student in a general education setting. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team to implement behavior intervention plans for a student exhibiting intense behaviors including attention-seeking and avoidance. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through June 5, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to a 1st-grade male student with intense behaviors
- Collaborate directly with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Address behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance through evidence-based strategies
- Work alongside a paraprofessional to ensure consistent behavioral support
- Monitor progress and report on behavioral interventions and outcomes regularly
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with young students with behavior challenges in a school setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with BCBAs, educators, and support staff
- Strong skills in implementing BIPs and managing challenging behaviors
- Patience, professionalism, and a student-centered approach
