Dyslexia Reading Specialist - Dallas, TX

Bring your expertise in literacy intervention and dyslexia support to a dynamic educational environment in the Dallas area. As a valued contract professional, you’ll foster reading success across both elementary and high school campuses. This is an onsite role where your skills will positively impact students’ academic journeys from now through late May 2027.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid general teaching endorsement in Texas
• At least one of: Reading Endorsement, Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), or Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner (LDP)
• Demonstrated skill in providing targeted reading interventions, particularly for students with dyslexia
• Familiarity with multi-age caseloads (elementary and high school)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to evidence-based instructional approaches for literacy

What you’ll do:

• Deliver direct dyslexia therapy and reading intervention sessions to students in need across two campuses
• Assess individual student needs and develop targeted, data-driven intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to optimize instructional strategies and align with IEP/504 requirements
• Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and report outcomes to educational teams
• Share resources and expertise to build campus-wide literacy capacity
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school, district, and federal guidelines
