Dyslexia Reading Specialist in Dallas, TX

As a key member of the academic support team, you’ll bring expertise in evidence-based interventions to help students build foundational reading skills. Your talents will directly impact student growth and confidence, fostering academic success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active General Teaching Endorsement
• Completion of training in either Take Flight or Reading By Design
• Verification of credentials through the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) Registry or Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
• Experience working as a Dyslexia Therapist or Reading Specialist
• Commitment to engaging students with diverse learning needs in grades K-12

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted, structured literacy interventions to assigned caseloads in elementary and high school settings
• Assess student progress and provide individualized, data-driven instruction
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to tailor support plans and share student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and required reports regarding interventions and student outcomes
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to succeed
