Qualifications:

• Valid General Teaching Endorsement required.
• Current certification or training in either Take Flight or Reading By Design.
• Listed in the ALTA Registry as a certified Academic Language Therapist or Practitioner, or verified as a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) or Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner (LDP) through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Previous experience as a Reading Specialist or Dyslexia Therapist preferred.
• Strong skills in assessment, documentation, and individualized instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized reading and dyslexia support to a diverse group of students across elementary and high school campuses.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans based on individual needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with general education staff, special education teams, and families to support student success.
• Participate in ongoing professional development as required.
