Make an impact working with students as a Dyslexia Therapist in a contract position serving both an elementary and a high school campus. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about reading intervention and supporting diverse learners in an onsite school environment. The assignment runs through May 27, 2027, with a standard 37.5-hour work week.

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid General Teaching Endorsement
  • One of the following:
    • Reading Endorsement
    • Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)
    • Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner (LDP)
  • Experience working with students with dyslexia or reading challenges, preferably in a K-12 setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams, students, and families
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct dyslexia therapy and reading intervention to students at both the elementary and high school levels
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans based on student needs
  • Assessing reading progress and documenting student achievement
  • Consulting and coordinating with classroom teachers and administrative staff
  • Maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participating in professional development and ongoing training related to literacy and dyslexia
