Special Education Reading Specialist - Media, Pennsylvania

This full-time, contract position begins August 24, 2026 and concludes on June 10, 2027, totaling 37.5 hours per week in a vibrant and dynamic school environment. Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania (PA) teaching certification/licensure and Reading Specialist certification
• Proven school-based experience, particularly in urban settings
• Mastery of reading instruction, formative assessments, and differentiated instructional strategies
• Ability to develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district educational standards
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills
• Reliable access to transportation for consistent attendance
• Comfortable working within the specific district and community setting
• Experience working with diverse populations, demonstrating adaptability and cultural competence
• Uphold all PA clearance requirements prior to start
