Two full-time contract opportunities are open for passionate educators dedicated to advancing reading skills among students ranging from kindergarten through grade 8. This onsite position covers a 35-hour work week and extends through June 10, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure, with Reading Specialist endorsement required
• Demonstrated expertise in reading instruction and a strong grasp of subject matter
• Previous school-based experience, ideally within an urban setting
• Proven classroom and behavioral management skills
• Experience with instructional planning, formative assessment, and lesson plan development aligned with district and state standards
• Comfortable engaging diverse student populations in a public school environment
• Must be able to complete all Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
• Reliable transportation to and from school site is essential

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement literacy intervention strategies for K-8 students
• Create engaging lesson plans grounded in current standards and individualized student needs
• Assess student reading levels, monitor progress, and provide differentiated instruction
