K-8 Reading Specialist

Make a meaningful impact as a Reading Specialist in New Hampshire! This is an anticipated contract opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year, with a start date as soon as possible through mid-June. 

Key Qualifications

• New Hampshire certification as a Reading and Writing Specialist, or eligibility for certification
• Strong knowledge of literacy instruction, assessment, and intervention
• Experience working with students requiring academic support
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Knowledge of MTSS and data-driven decision-making preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, targeted reading interventions for students in grades K–8.
• Conduct literacy assessments, monitor student progress, and analyze data to develop intervention plans.
• Support teachers in implementing evidence-based literacy instruction.
• Participate in student support and IEP team meetings as appropriate.
• Assist with school-wide reading initiatives.
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, interventionists, and administrators to support student literacy development.
