Reading Specialist in Upper Darby, PA

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and is dedicated to supporting elementary learners as part of the Stetser Elementary School caseload. Qualifications:

• Reading specialist certification required
• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification or licensure
• Proven school-based experience as a reading specialist
• Demonstrated expertise in grade-level reading instruction and development
• Mastery of subject matter, instructional strategies, and curricular resources
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
• Experience in an urban education setting
• Ability to align lesson planning with state and district standards, utilizing formative assessment and differentiation
• Comfortable working within district guidelines and the specifics of the location
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Completion of all required PA clearances
• Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
