As an onsite Reading Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering literacy and promoting reading success across a diverse urban school setting. Qualifications:

• Active PA certification/licensure required
• Reading Specialist certification is a must
• Proven school-based experience as a Reading Specialist
• Able to complete all necessary PA clearances before starting
• Demonstrated mastery of reading instruction, subject matter, and resource integration
• Adept at classroom and behavioral management
• Strong experience working in urban schools and comfortable with the local district environment
• Reliable transportation is essential
• Capable of crafting differentiated lesson plans aligned to state and district standards
• Ready to participate in a Zoom-based interview

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted reading interventions and instruction to elementary students across K-8
• Develop inclusive and adaptive lesson plans to address varying student needs
