Qualifications & Credentials:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Certified School Nurse credential or a Master’s degree in School Nursing required
• Demonstrated proficiency in trach care, g-tube management, and ventilator support
• Experience conducting skills assessments for LVNs or similar healthcare staff
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Adaptable, collaborative approach within school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough skills assessments and observations for LVNs, focusing on trach, g-tube, and ventilator care
• Review and verify compliance with health and safety protocols
• Offer mentorship, training, and feedback to LVNs to promote ongoing competency
• Maintain accurate records and clear communication with educational and healthcare teams
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff regarding student healthcare practices
• Ensure immediate and appropriate responses to medical situations in school settings
