School-Based LPN or RN for 1:1 Assignment

School-Based 1:1 LPN/RN Needed – Allentown, PA | 2026–2027 School Year

A school in Allentown area is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for a 1:1 school-based assignment during the 2026–2027 school year. This position will support a student who requires close medical monitoring throughout the school day, including in-class support and transportation assistance.

The nurse will be responsible for providing direct care, monitoring the student’s needs, and administering rescue medication as needed. The district is looking for someone dependable, attentive, and comfortable working closely with a student in both classroom and transportation settings.

Position Details:

• Location: Allentown, PA
• Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027
• Schedule: Approximately 30–37.5 hours per week, depending on the district calendar and student attendance
• Setting: 1:1 student support in class and during transportation
• Student: Female student requiring rescue medication and ongoing monitoring
• If the student is absent, the nurse may be allowed to substitute in other rooms as needed

Requirements:

• Active LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable providing 1:1 care in a school setting
• Experience with rescue medication and student monitoring preferred
• Must be comfortable riding the bus with the student
• Dependable, patient, and able to follow school health protocols
