This part-time position is uniquely structured for those seeking meaningful work with a manageable schedule—just Thursday and Friday each week, from 7:45am to 10:45am.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Texas
• Previous experience working in a pediatric or school-based setting, especially with medically fragile children, is highly preferred
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Excellent communication skills for daily coordination with educators, bus staff, and family
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous, attentive care to a 3-year-old student with significant medical needs throughout the school morning
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as outlined in the child’s care plan
• Monitor and assess the student’s health status, documenting observations and promptly addressing changes
• Ride the school bus home with the student each Friday, ensuring safe and proper care during transportation, and return to the school via bus
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for the student
