Registered Nurse School Setting - Anderson, SC

Step into a meaningful role supporting a high school student as a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide 1:1 care in a school setting, making a real difference in a student's daily experience while working closely with educators and school staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly beneficial
• Comfortable with 1:1 nursing responsibilities and working independently
• Ability to manage the medical needs of a student who is paralyzed but cognitively high functioning
• Willingness to ride the school bus with the student to and from school each day
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and the student's family

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, compassionate care tailored to the individual needs of the assigned student throughout the school day
• Monitor and address any health concerns, supporting the student’s safety, comfort, and well-being
• Assist the student with daily needs as directed by their healthcare plan
• Ride the bus each morning and afternoon, ensuring the student’s safety during transit
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
• Serve as a resource for staff regarding the student’s medical needs

Position Details and Perks:
