Health Certified School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Anderson, South Carolina

Step into a rewarding role providing specialized care in a high school setting for the spring semester. As a Registered Nurse, you'll play an integral part in supporting the well-being and educational experience of two high school students, making a real difference each day from February 19th through May 21st.

Your day-to-day focus will center on classroom-based care, offering dedicated attention to two students—one who uses a wheelchair and one who does not. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Familiarity with classroom or educational settings is a plus
• G-tube and ventilator experience strongly preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate, one-on-one care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical nursing standards
• Certification in CPR/BLS (current)

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering individualized nursing care to two high school students within the classroom environment
• Performing health assessments, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs
• Managing g-tube and ventilator care as needed
• Supporting all activities of daily living for students
• Documenting care services and communicating updates clearly with staff and caregivers
• Responding promptly to medical emergencies and following established protocols
• Facilitating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
