Your role will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning experience for both students — one who utilizes a wheelchair and another who is ambulatory. Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Previous experience in school or pediatric nursing highly valued
- Proficiency with g-tube care preferred
- Familiarity with ventilator management considered a plus
- Certified in CPR and First Aid
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly and respond to changing needs in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized healthcare support throughout the school day
- Administer medications and manage complex medical needs, including g-tube and possible ventilator care
- Monitor students’ overall health status and respond to emergencies
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with all relevant protocols and regulations
