Certified Licensed Registered Nurse School Setting - Anderson, SC

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment is highly valued
• Comfort working with high school-aged students
• Competence in providing care for students with medical complexities
• G-tube care experience is preferred
• Ventilator experience is preferred, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive nursing care to two designated students in a classroom setting, providing direct support throughout the school day
• Administer medications and perform required health procedures including g-tube care and, potentially, ventilator management
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate health documentation and communicate updates with relevant school staff and families
• Ensure student safety and comfort, particularly with mobility support for one student who uses a wheelchair
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school administrators to uphold individualized health care plans
• Respond promptly and skillfully to any health emergencies or routine care needs within the classroom environment
