1:1 Middle School School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Anderson, South Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Previous experience providing 1:1 nursing care, preferably in a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school)
• Proven ability to care for wheelchair-bound individuals and a strong understanding of mobility needs
• Ventilator care experience is essential, with a comfort level in emergency interventions and routine monitoring
• Empathy, adaptability, and excellent communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
• Current CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing support for seven students with complex medical needs throughout the school day
• Monitor health status, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate care with educators and medical professionals
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as medically required
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure student safety and inclusion
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any medical emergencies
• Assist students with daily activities, mobility, and personal hygiene, while fostering independence and dignity
