Registered Nurse School Setting in Angels Camp, CA

Qualifications & Experience

• Active California RN license, free from restrictions
• Previous nursing experience in a pediatric, school, or similar setting preferred
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt care for diverse student populations and needs
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of an educational care team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and school staff
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions (diabetes, asthma, allergies, etc.)
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate health records
• Serve as a health resource for students, parents, and school personnel
• Conduct health screenings and participate in safety programs
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and document incidents accordingly
