Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in Michigan
• Experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to respond effectively in emergent situations
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• CPR/BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care, including administering medications, first aid, and specialized procedures
• Assess and monitor student health conditions, documenting findings and interventions
• Develop or assist with Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)
• Provide health education and counseling for students and staff
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to support student health needs
• Maintain confidential health records and comply with relevant regulations
• Participate in health screenings, immunization monitoring, and communicable disease control
• Promote a culture of inclusivity and safety for every student
