School Registered Nurse | Anoka, Minnesota

A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide skilled nursing services in a K-12 school setting located in Anoka, MN. This contract position covers the complete school year (CSY) and plays a critical role in supporting student health and wellness within the educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students, including assessment, intervention, and follow-up
• Manage medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Develop individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with school staff and families
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational personnel to promote health education and safety
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or coordinate medical care as necessary
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with relevant health regulations and school policies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience working in school or pediatric nursing settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children of varying ages
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student support
• Knowledge of common childhood illnesses, chronic conditions, and immunization protocols
