School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Anoka, Minnesota

Embark on a fulfilling contract role supporting student health and wellness across several schools as a Licensed School Nurse (LSN) for the upcoming academic year. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic school district, serving as an itinerant nurse overseeing the needs of five school sites. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring a healthy, safe environment for students, staff, and communities across the district.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN License and Public Health License
• Possess a valid School Nurse License issued by the Board of Teaching
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Comfortable managing caseloads and traveling between multiple district sites
• Collaborative, flexible, and adept at working within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing services to students across five school locations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with specific health needs
• Respond promptly to emergencies and acute health concerns on-site
• Liaise with educators, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate student care
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with district policies
• Lead health education initiatives and advocate for student wellness
