School Registered Nurse | Anoka, Minnesota

Make a meaningful difference in the life of a young adult by providing essential 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day and beyond. A compassionate and detail-oriented RN or LPN is needed to support a student in the Transition/Young Adult Program (ages 18–22) at a local education center. This unique role includes riding the bus with the student from their Becker residence to Monticello and back, ensuring continuous, individualized clinical care and safety during all facets of the school day and community activities.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN or LPN license in Minnesota
• Experience in school-based nursing or care for young adults preferred
• Skilled in medication administration, clinical monitoring, and accurate care documentation
• Comfortable supporting personal hygiene, pain, and respiratory needs
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to reliably commute to the student’s Becker residence each morning and afternoon
• Willingness to accompany the student on community outings, as coordinated with classroom staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, 1:1 clinical care and supervision to the assigned student throughout the day
• Ensure student safety and well-being during transportation to and from the education center
• Administer medications, monitor medical status, and respond to health needs promptly
• Assist with toileting and daily living activities as needed
• Maintain thorough and accurate daily nursing logs and communication with onsite staff
• Participate in training with the student’s family and school orientation prior to the start date
