Registered Nurse School Setting - Arlington Heights, IL

A contract nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified School Nurse (CSN), or RN School Nurse to support the Extended School Year (ESY) summer program at a high school in Arlington Heights, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health services to high school students during the ESY summer session.
• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid as needed.
• Monitor student health status and manage health care plans.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student well-being.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation per school policies.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) preferred.
• Experience working in a school or educational setting strongly desired.
• Ability to manage diverse health needs and emergency situations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
