Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia, or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations or within a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability to a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and health care procedures to students
• Develop and implement personalized care plans for students with chronic health conditions
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district regulations
• Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families, providing education and guidance on health-related topics
• Collaborate with school administrators and other professionals to promote a safe and healthy environment
