School Registered Nurse | Arnold, Missouri

Bring your clinical experience to a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students near Union, MO or Fenton, MO. This position focuses on providing care to a medically fragile student in a compassionate and educational setting for the full school year, beginning August 24th.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Active RN license, current and in good standing
• Experience with pediatric, school, or 1:1 nursing is highly preferred
• Comfortable with or willing to serve in a paraprofessional capacity full-time (if preferred, a part-time RN-only option is available)
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with educators, staff, and families
• Ability to respond calmly to urgent student health needs and adapt care plans as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing care to an elementary-aged student with medical fragility during the first half of each school day
• Support the student’s health and safety needs while collaborating with school staff
• Document daily care provided and maintain accurate student health records
• Advocate for and facilitate the student’s participation in classroom activities where possible
• Communicate daily updates to families and school administration as appropriate
