2nd Grade 1:1 Pediatric School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Atlanta, Georgia

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license in Georgia
• Prior pediatric nursing experience, particularly in school or 1:1 care settings
• Familiarity with managing care plans for students in grades 1-5 and 9-10
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
• Compassion and patience when supporting children and teens

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 care for assigned students during school hours
• Monitor student health status and implement physician-ordered interventions
• Document care activities and maintain updated health records
• Support students in navigating daily academic routines while managing medical needs
• Educate staff and students on health, wellness, and safety
• Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate interventions
• Communicate regularly with caregivers and healthcare providers as needed
