Preferred candidates bring pediatric experience or previous school nursing, along with skilled knowledge in tube-feeding, catheter care, and diabetic management. You’ll work independently within the school health office while collaborating with educators, families, and community health providers.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Experience with tube-feeding, catheterization, and diabetic care essential
• Pediatric or school nursing background strongly preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to build rapport with elementary-age children, staff, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care and first aid to students, addressing injuries, illnesses, and chronic health needs
• Administer and document medications, manage health plans for students with diabetes or other conditions
• Provide specialized care such as tube-feedings and catheterization as needed
• Promote a healthy, inclusive school environment through education and prevention
• Support crisis response, collaborate with faculty regarding student care and health education
• Maintain confidential health records and uphold all state/federal protocols
