School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Auburn, California

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license to practice in California
• Current CPR certification
• Experience working with pediatric populations or in school settings is highly valued
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Up-to-date immunizations according to state and district requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students with acute or chronic health needs
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
• Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization compliance
• Develop individualized care plans and communicate with parents and educators
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies within the school setting
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality
• Offer preventive health education and promote wellness programs
• Collaborate with other school professionals to support student success
