What you’ll bring:

• Active RN license valid in California
• Previous nursing experience in pediatrics, schools, or a similar setting
• Solid assessment, care planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain professionalism in an ever-changing environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Reliability, resourcefulness, and a dedicated, student-focused approach

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
• Assist with chronic condition management, including medication administration
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school and state policies
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to create supportive care plans
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness best practices
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and health-related incidents
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when nursing input is required
• Support public health initiatives within the school community
