School Registered Nurse | Aurora, Illinois

This position is for an LPN or RN to provide one-on-one care for a 4-year-old student in an elementary school setting. The role involves working directly with a student who requires specialized medical support, including tracheostomy care. Ideal candidates will have experience with tracheostomy management and be comfortable assisting with feeding and toileting as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a 4-year-old student during school hours
• Perform tracheostomy care with precision and attention to safety
• Assist with feeding and toileting as necessary
• Accompany the student during bus rides to and from school
• Collaborate with school staff to support the student's health and educational needs

Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification required
• Experience with tracheostomy care is mandatory
• Comfort and ability to provide feeding and toileting assistance
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work collaboratively within a school environment
• Availability during the hours of 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM

This is a contract position for the current school year (CSY).
