Registered Nurse School Setting in Aurora, IL

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to assist with an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) in the area near Aurora, IL. This short-term contract assignment is ideal for a School Nurse seeking a unique project that leverages clinical skills in a collaborative educational setting, working closely with an Audiologist. This critical evaluation must be completed before the end of September, and the assignment is structured for one evaluation, with a flat fee to be received upon successful completion.

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN state license
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse Endorsement required
• Prior experience in a school-based nursing role is highly valued
• Understanding of IEP/IEE processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and clinical documentation
• Availability for an onsite evaluation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) as a Certified School Nurse
