A healthcare professional with Nursing credentials is needed to provide dedicated support to an elementary school student with medical needs. This position requires a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) experienced in pediatric or school nursing, or willing to bring nursing expertise into an educational environment.
Location: Ballwin, MO (Elementary School setting)
Position Type: Contract, Current School Year (CSY)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM (15 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one nursing assistance to a medically fragile student
- Support with toileting, feeding, and safe medication administration
- Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure the student’s health and safety
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with the student's care team
Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required; LPNs or CNAs are not eligible
- Experience in a school nursing role is preferred but not mandatory
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities within a school setting
