Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN, LPN, LVN license, or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or public health nursing setting preferred
• Knowledge of common childhood illnesses, chronic condition management, and emergency response protocols
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Understanding of FERPA and HIPAA as they pertain to educational settings
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students during the school day
• Develop and implement care plans for students with acute or chronic needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Respond quickly and effectively to accidents, illnesses, and emergencies
• Conduct health screenings and provide health education to students and staff
• Maintain accurate nursing records and participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings as appropriate
