Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse endorsement.
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards for medication administration in a school setting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with campus staff and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance and health protocol completion at the campus level.
• Conduct regular file reviews to confirm all doctor’s orders for medication are current.
• Audit medications to ensure appropriate quantities and administration records.
• Review and monitor seizure, allergy, and asthma action plans for compliance and accessible, non-expired medication.
• Support staff in maintaining best practices in student health and safety.
