This position, scheduled for the 26/27 school year, involves about 10 hours per month. Requirements:

• Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation License as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Valid School Nurse Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience in school nursing or healthcare coordination preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee completion of health-related activities at the campus level
• Conduct thorough file reviews to verify all doctor’s orders for medication administration are current
• Audit medication administration procedures and inventory for accuracy and compliance
• Review and ensure seizure, allergy, and asthma action plans are up to date and accessible, with non-expired medications on hand
