School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Baxter, Minnesota

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Minnesota
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal school health regulations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and effectively
• CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and emergency first aid and medications as prescribed
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate health records in accordance with regulations
• Educate students and staff about health practices and emergency procedures
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as needed for student accommodations
• Promote a healthy and safe school environment
