This full-time, onsite position (30-32 hours per week) runs from ASAP through June 22, 2026, with anticipated needs extending into the 2026-2027 school year. Your schedule will closely align with school hours, working weekdays from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a great work-life balance.
In this role, you will provide dedicated, one-on-one care to a male 7th-grade student. Your commitment and expertise directly influence his safety and access to learning each day. Bus riding is required, as you’ll ensure continuity of care during transportation. You’ll utilize your experience in asthma management, seizure response, and medical procedures such as G-tube feedings, catheterizations, and toileting assistance—including diapering—helping to promote the student’s wellbeing at all times.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed RN, LPN, or LVN with current credentials
- Background in school-based nursing or pediatric care
- Demonstrated experience with seizure care and protocols
- Skilled in administering G-tube feedings and managing catheters
- Strong ability to provide toileting support, including diapering
- Knowledge of best practices for asthma management
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently
- Willingness to ride the school bus daily as part of student support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one daily medical care to a student with complex needs
- Administer emergency interventions and daily treatments per care plan
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate with educational staff
