Preferred Background & Skills:
- Current licensure as an RN, LPN, or LVN with experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Proven proficiency with asthma management and emergency interventions
- Experience handling G-tube feedings, catheterizations, toileting assistance, and diapering
- Direct knowledge of seizure care protocols and emergency response
- Comfortable providing 1:1 care and participating in bus transportation to ensure student safety
- Compassionate, adaptable, and able to build strong rapport with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing support to a 7th-grade student throughout the school day, including assistance on bus rides
- Administer respiratory support and medications for asthma as needed
- Conduct G-tube feedings, manage catheters, and assist with toileting and personal hygiene
- Monitor for and respond to seizures or other health concerns promptly and appropriately
- Maintain accurate health records and collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe, inclusive environment
