School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Benton, Arkansas

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to support three K-12 schools as a float nurse in a dynamic educational environment near Little Rock, AR. This full-time contract position is perfect for compassionate RNs who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced settings and are ready to start immediately. You will oversee three Medical Assistants, each assigned to one of the schools, ensuring students receive high-quality, responsive healthcare throughout the day.

What you'll need:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to supervise and guide Medical Assistants
• Comfort working across multiple school sites (K-12)
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly desired
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care to students at three school locations
• Serve as a floating resource across assigned sites according to daily needs
• Oversee and mentor three Medical Assistants, offering guidance and support
• Manage student health needs, medications, emergencies, and routine care
• Respond promptly to illnesses, injuries, and health-related situations
• Maintain accurate health records and support school health protocols
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
