School RN in Berwick, PA

Provide essential nursing care for students in a school setting, supporting their health and well-being to promote academic success and safety. This position serves elementary and high school students with specialized medical needs in the Berwick, PA area on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including those with complex medical conditions such as tracheostomies, G-tubes, diabetes, and stroke recovery.
• Monitor and manage individual health plans, emergency protocols, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with school and state nursing standards.
• Provide health education and support to students, faculty, and parents as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania State or Nurse Licensure Compact nursing license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly students with mobility challenges, tracheostomies, G-tubes, and diabetes management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations involving children.

• Berwick, Pennsylvania, with support provided for students located in Hazelton, PA.
