School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Berwyn, Illinois

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience working as a school nurse, with knowledge of school health protocols
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credentials or eligibility
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
• Capacity to respond effectively to medical emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• CPR and First Aid certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care, first aid, and health counseling to students and staff as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and medication administration logs
• Promote wellness initiatives and coordinate preventive health programs
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and administration to support individual health plans and accommodations
• Manage and respond to illness outbreaks, accidents, and emergencies on campus
• Serve as a resource on matters of public health and safety within the school environment
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans when applicable
