Grades 6 - 8 K-5 School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Birdsboro, Pennsylvania

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification in School Nursing preferred
• Experience working with children or adolescents, particularly in educational or pediatric settings
• Ability to assess, triage, and respond to medical situations with professionalism
• Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to varying student backgrounds
• Knowledge of relevant health regulations and confidentiality practices

Role Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing services for students, including first aid and emergency care
• Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions as prescribed
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with school policies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student wellbeing
• Deliver health education and resources to promote healthy habits
• Respond to public health concerns and implement preventative strategies
• Participate in development and review of Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
