Your qualifications and experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
- Familiarity with school nursing practices and protocols
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Current CPR certification
Key responsibilities:
- Administer daily and emergency nursing care to students as needed
- Monitor and manage student health plans, medications, treatments, and immunization records
- Respond to health emergencies with sound, timely judgment
- Act as a resource for health education and wellness for students and staff
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records according to policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other school professionals to promote a healthy school environment
