Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license in Missouri (verified on Nursys)
- Recent pediatric experience in ICU, ER, or school settings (new graduates not considered)
- Skilled in triaging and caring for students of all ages, PreK-12th grade
- Comfortable working independently as the sole RN in a health room
- Ability to multitask and efficiently use computerized charting systems
- Flexible, adaptable, and dependable—capable of responding to same-day schedule changes
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care, first aid, and assessments for students and staff, traveling between multiple sites as assigned
- Lead health room operations and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Accompany and support students and staff on school field trips as needed
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies, illnesses, and injuries
- Communicate promptly and professionally regarding daily assignments and any needs for schedule changes
- Collaborate with school teams to promote a healthy, safe educational environment
