The position centers on providing comprehensive care for students aged K-21 in a school where all students have special education needs, including those who are medically fragile and have severe disabilities.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in Missouri
• Previous nursing experience in school, pediatric, long-term care, or similar setting
• Strong interest in working with students who have physical or intellectual challenges, autism, and medical disabilities
• Comfortable performing hands-on care including multiple G-tube feedings, Hoyer lifts, and diapering
• Solid skills in managing daily medications and responding to seizures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable team player with a resilient, positive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, attentive nursing care to students with complex health and behavioral needs
• Administer feedings, medication, and interventions according to individualized care plans
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, therapists, and families to support student success
• Assess and address acute needs, medication reactions, and emergencies with professional calm
• Maintain accurate health records and routine documentation specific to student care
