Registered Nurse School Setting in Bluffton, SC

As a valued member working onsite, you'll collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina
• Prior school nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for school-age children
• Effective communication skills with students, families, staff, and administration
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Comfortable working independently and adapting to the diverse health needs of K-12 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, triage health concerns, and manage chronic conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policy
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community
• Support immunization compliance and health screenings
• Serve as a resource for school staff regarding student health issues
