An opportunity is available for a full-time Registered Nurse to support student health services at a high school located in the Boston, MA area. This contract position spans the current school year and is ideal for a nurse dedicated to promoting wellness and managing health care within an educational setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up
  • Administering medications and maintaining accurate health records
  • Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health plans
  • Responding promptly to medical emergencies and providing first aid as needed
  • Promoting health education and wellness initiatives within the school community

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience working in school-based nursing or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive health information
  • Commitment to supporting the physical and emotional well-being of students

Location:

  • Position is based in Medford, Massachusetts, serving a high school student population within the Boston metro area
