School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Boston, Massachusetts

This contract opportunity is ideal for caring LPNs or RNs who enjoy providing one-on-one support in a school environment. Located just outside Boston, this position spans the full academic year of 2026–2027 and also includes an option for summer school through 2027. You’ll become a vital resource for your assigned student(s), ensuring their health and safety as a key member of the school’s supportive team.

Essential Qualifications:

• Active and valid MA LPN or RN license
• Experience in school-based settings or pediatric care strongly preferred
• Comfort with van riding, providing care and supervision during transport as needed
• Ability to work the full contracted schedule: 5 days per week, throughout the school year and summer term
• Warm, patient, and reliable demeanor for one-on-one care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to a designated student, ensuring medical needs are met at school and during transport
• Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Complete accurate documentation of services provided, following established protocols
• Participate actively in the student’s educational team and respond to emerging health needs as they arise
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold all school health regulations
