A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) is sought to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for pediatric students in a school setting. This contract role is based in Boston, MA, and involves direct nursing support for students across various grade levels, including 1st through 5th grade, as well as 9th and 10th grades. The position requires expertise in individualized healthcare management to ensure the safety and well-being of students with diverse medical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive 1:1 nursing care to pediatric students in the school environment
  • Monitor and manage individualized healthcare plans tailored to each student's medical requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support students’ academic and health needs
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Educate school staff on health-related matters and emergency procedures

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
  • Experience in pediatric nursing, especially in school or educational settings
  • Proven ability to provide one-on-one care for children with complex medical conditions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with the healthcare needs of students from elementary through high school grades
